chasing a feirce tiger,
riding a blind donkey

empty mountain
no human being
water flows
and flowers bloom

the theif left it behind,
the moon
in my window

embrace tiger,
return to mountain

there is a stillness
into which
the world cannot intrude

the master archer
draws back the bowstring
after the thief has gone

awakening
from the dream
of thought

forever spontaneously poised

since my house burned down

through the gate
the sound
of the unblown flute

where is the master?
gathering herbs
deep in the mountains
hidden in clouds
